Create a Pre-Listing Action Plan and Implement Any “To Do’s”
This may be overwhelming- but no need to fear - your agent is here! This is where we’ll walk through your house and go through what’s worth doing ( and not doing) to your home to get you top dollar. (Painting, Staging, Furniture Arrangement, etc - Don’t worry, I’ll be there for you every step of the way.)
15 - 30 Days Out
Take Care of Touch-Ups and Repairs, and Gather Required Paperwork
Fill out all disclosures, records of repairs, updates, etc. Tighten that doorknob that’s been loose for years. Shine those mirrors, trim that grass, & deep clean to get that fresh, Home Sweet Home smell.
10-15 Days Out
Get Photo & Marketing Ready
Lights, Camera, SHOW. With a pro like me behind you- get ready for your house to SHINE.
This is where we get to finalize photos, staging, and all marketing to make your home truly “pop.”
Time To Hit the Market
Once we go “live,” there will be a lot of activity. We will go over how showings will take place and any offers we received. Many of my clients were unable to find a home for themselves, or were outbid in 2021. If you had any thoughts of selling, I may already have a buyer for your home. What is expected to happen this year in the real estate market? Forecasts are positive and remain strong.
In Mortgage Rates, the prediction is they will rise to 3.5% to 4%. While it seems like a jump, these rates are still historically low!
In Home Prices- Continue to rise! While the various economic groups differ on the amount, the average is 5.1%. Even at a rate of 2.8% price increase, makes real estate a strong investment.
In Home Sales- Home sales are expected to stay on a similar projection as 2021. Another year of the pandemic means people want certain things in their home, and are willing to make a move to have those.
